The White Paper also makes reference to the CoESS-UNI Europa recent project study on skills, in the context of the EU-funded project "INTEL Skills Intelligence for the Private Security Services" and shows that the recommendations from ACI are strongly aligned with the recommendations in the CoESS-UNI Europa project study.

The ACI White Paper also mentions topics such as workforce professionalisation and value-based procurement practices. Also CoESS is working on the revision of the existing EN Standard 16082, the aviation branch of a broader standard system for Private Security Companies involved in CIP and; ASSA-i is currently working on the revision of the Best Value Manual. This Manual includes a set of practical recommendations to help buyers select quality private security providers based on objective measurable criteria.
